Music in the Film

Annie Beth Brown Donahue served as the music supervisor for Abandoned Allies. She collected pieces created by talented independent artists to set the tone throughout the film. We’re incredibly grateful to all of the artists who supported the film by sharing their music, and for Annie Beth’s support in managing those efforts. (Read an interview with Annie Beth here.)

Original Score

Segments of the film were scored by Kyle D. Owen, a composer who lives in the Triangle area in North Carolina. For inspiration, Kyle listened to music performed by Montagnards and watched many of the rough cuts of the film as it was being edited. We’re grateful to Kyle for his talent as a composer, dedication to the project, and patience in sticking with the filmmakers over the course of several years of post-production efforts.
