Bethany College proudly presents the 2023 Messiah Festival Juried Student Art Exhibition, featuring works of art created by talented Bethany art majors. The exhibition showcases ceramics, drawings, jewelry, paintings, photography, printmaking, and sculpture and will continue through April 10 in the Mingenback Gallery. The awards ceremony, held on Sunday, April 2, at 2 p.m. in the gallery, announced the following winners:
"These students are wonderful representatives of the Art and Digital Media Department and Bethany College. All the pieces submitted to the annual Messiah Art Exhibition represent our students' hard work, passion, and dedication. We are incredibly proud of our students and the continued community support of the arts at Bethany College.
The Mingenback Gallery is free and open to the public on weekdays, Palm Sunday, and Easter weekends from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Bethany College Art Department recognizes the importance of open and rigorous inquiry in a liberal arts education. The Mingenback Art Center serves as a premier center for art instruction. The gallery provides a platform to showcase the works of regional artists, Bethany College students, and alums.
