LINDSBORG, KAN., April 25, 2022 - On April 22nd President Mauch received the Benigna Education Award at the Shining Lights Moravian University Alumni and Community Award ceremony. Dr. Mauch earned a Bachelor of Science from Moravian in 1993, her M.S. and Ph.D. from Lehigh University in 1996 and 1999. The award is named after Benigna Von Zinzendorf, who founded Moravian University in 1742 at the age of 16. The Benigna Education Award recognizes an alum for significant innovations in the teaching profession or substantial impact on the education process and for demonstrated dedication to the community at large. The award included administrators, college professors, elementary, and secondary teachers.
“It is such an honor to be nominated. This award highlights why it is imperative that I ensure that faculty and staff at Bethany have the tools to make a substantial impact or significant innovations in their field.
